Job Description

As a Location Manager/General Manager at AMG you’ll provide oversight for the day to day operations at your FBO location including the managing of team members. You’ll represent the AMG brand with pride while watching all your efforts come together. Managers will help direct the timely and efficient servicing of aircrafts. Our Managers are responsible for leading their teams, offering creative solutions to challenges, communicating with other AMG managers and directly ensuring the safety of clients and team members. This position requires a hands-on approach by working on the frontlines while overseeing the operations at your location, ensuring the safety of aircrafts, team members, and customers.

Overview of Responsibilities
• Overall management of the day-to-day FBO operations at their assigned location
• Responsible for (direct) supervision of all employees
• Regularly directs the work of their team, providing guidance to ensure that all operational goals/initiatives and are met
• Coach, mentor and motivate team members to develop future leaders
• Develop relationships with base and transient customers that provide revenue growth
• Operation of Point of Sale, includes processing proper Invoicing for Customers, and reconciliation/collection of aging reports
• The manager is responsible for accurately completing daily reports and reviewing daily close reports. Includes: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reconciliations
• Quality Control on fuel, equipment, and Safety
• Ability to provide exceptional, proactive, personalized customer experience to all general Aviation Clientele
• Responsible for product ordering for items carried at their specific location
• Responsible for the hiring, training, coaching and discipline of all location personnel including the completion of documentation
• Setting and adjusting employee pay records, and verifying the accuracy of hours worked
• Plans, prepares, and posts personnel work schedules. Responsible for daily timecard edits.
• Responsible for facilitating coverage of shifts and unexpected events
• Responsible for execution of company standards for mystery shop programs
• Responsible for maintaining fuel pricing compliance standards
• Manage concierge level services including hotel, catering, and ground transportation scheduling
• Coordination of services, such as aircraft fueling, GPU, Lavatory Service, and hangar storage
• Effectively communicating via air-to-ground radio and ground-to-ground radio, in addition to other forms of communication
• Educating customers on available services, promotions and programs
• Is responsible for accuracy and integrity of inventory values
• Responsible for daily bank deposits
• Answering customer questions and resolving issues as necessary

Position Requirements
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• The employee must regularly be able to stand for up to 8 hours, while bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
• Must possess a valid state Driver’s License and pass an MVR check for insurability
• Should have a working knowledge of all on FBO location job duties and the standards needed to achieve operational excellence
• Ability to make quick decisions on the ramp, while maintaining customer service standards and safety
• Acts as a role model within and outside of the location
• Demonstrates and models’ strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
• Maintains a positive and respective attitude
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and initiative to be successful
• Provides feedback to improve processes, job guides, and overall company operations
• Communicates regularly with AMG Leadership about company/location matters and issues
• Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to work without direct supervision and prioritizes their and their employee’s workload/flow appropriately to meet company expectations
• Previous FBO experience a plus
